"No one is free until we are all free"
On Tu BShevat, the "New Year for Trees", we honor the beginning of spring in Israel by celebrating the cycle of life and nature. This is a season for renewal and healing. As Jewish women, we reach out to victims and survivors of domestic violence who, like the trees, have weathered the storms of winter and look with hope toward a brighter future. We take responsibility for helping members of our community who are not yet free from the suffering of physical, sexual, emotional and economic abuse.
