OUR RESPONSE TO a national MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS

In February of 2023, US Surgeon General Vivek Murthy declared the increase in youth mental health needs the defining public health crisis of our time. With thoughtful input from our community, Youth Mental Health Services was created to help confront this national problem at a local level.

Youth Mental Health resources

"When I went through an unexpected divorce, my youngest daughter was struggling greatly. Thankfully, JFS helped us find a suitable therapist for my daughter at JFS, but also assisted me in finding a therapist in Greater Cincinnati. We cannot express enough gratitude for JFS's support during this challenging period in our lives."

– Alex

"Nina helped guide me into finding the sources of my stress and depression. Ultimately, it was her advice that led me to eliminating these sources, by focusing on the positives in life."

– Ceci, 16

"We are so appreciative of JFS Youth Mental Health Services; as parents we have seen a positive impact on our child’s quality of life, and as a result, on the whole family."

– Sarah and Paul
